About Brick Oven Bistro

Located at 904 Abbott Rd, Buffalo, NY 14220, Brick Oven Bistro operates as a pizza restaurant serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 3–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Brick Oven Bistro at (716) 844-8496; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is brickovendeli.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 770 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Buffalo peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My girlfriend and I de ided to try this place on a whim. We ordered two pizzas, a pepperoni with hot honey, and a steak pizza from a limited time menu. The sauce on the pepperoni pizza was outstanding in its flavor. The steak pizza surprised me. Its like they cooked a NY strip or a filet to medium rare, and carved it to become a pizza topping. None of that cheap shaved steak you get from other places. Truly impressed.

The food was absolutely fabulous. I had the jambalaya and my stepmom had the Angry Jim Jr. and we have zero complaints about the food. In fact that jambalaya was so good I contemplated purchasing another entree to take home with me. Parking is on the street and it was incredibly busy but if you know that ahead of time that’s not an issue. I will say that the service was lacking. We had Jim and he only came to our table to get our order and checked in once. I don’t know if it was because we were outside but in my opinion it’s not acceptable. I didn’t deduct points because that how good the food and the wine was. I will also say that as a piece of constructive criticism, the outdoor area could use light music so that each table doesn’t have to hear about the other tables business. I would recommend this place to anyone but maybe not sit outside if the service is particularly bad out there due to forgetfulness.

First time visitor. Sat night dinner was great! The restaurant had unique decor, friendly hostesses, comfortable & private booths, and delicious food. We ordered a salad, French onion soup and 2 kinds of vegetarian pizzas. Each food item exceeded expectations. Our small complaint rests with the service- water was never refilled and even though we asked for parmesan and red pepper when we ordered our food, we had to ask a second time for it after our pizza was already brought out. My only suggestion would be to leave the red pepper and parmesan on the table. We will definitely be back!

What a perfect place for the romantic evening. A relaxing place that so many friends/neighbors to love and respect. The staff is absolutely incredible, the food is hands down amazing. Idk if I’ve had better pie anywhere else in these United States. Chicago, Philly, SoCal, Pensacola, the list goes on. I guarantee you will not be let down.

We came here for a family dinner. We were seated right away. Our waitress was fantastic, very friendly. The crispy Brussel sprouts were awesome and loaded with bacon. The goat cheese with blackberries spread and fresh bread was amazing!, but give it a minute to cool. For dinner we had a pepperoni pizza, rueben pizza, brick mac pizza, margherita pizza and chicken and artichoke pizza. All of them were very good but the brick mac the best. Cant wait to go back to try some different ones.
